Cherupuzha
Cherupuzha is a hill village located approximately 80 kilometers northeast of the Kannur district headquarters and 38 kilometers east of the Payyanur taluk headquarters. Originating in Karnataka to the east and flowing westward into the Arabian Sea, the Tejaswini River is also known as the Karyangode River in these hilly regions. The confluence where a small stream—originating in the eastern regions of Thirumeni and flowing northwest—joins this Karyangode River is known as Cherupuzha.
